Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through seven energy centers within our bodies. When these energy centers (called chakras) are replenished and aligned, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. When these energy centers are low on energy or out of alignment, we are more likely to get sick and feel stress.
